That monky was a 17 years old girl from rawr and running HC monk alone in balanced template isnt such a sin. I repeat I didnt see her build before going in zomg.

awww yeh the monk in our grp happened to be a HC monk i was also told she was using nail polish on her toe nails while healing? and she had backstreet boys in background. The good thing was a bit of sarcasm. I'm against the build for every reason given. However that people in balanced build wants to stay alive, well ye, can't blame them. Doesn't mean I want to see it being played.

And the reason being is that the HC provides good healing, yeah you sit there spamming heals alot but doesn't make it a bad build does it? so i sugjest you stop QQing over it. dont like the build being played..go to PvE...simple. there will always be gimmick just like dual smite, get over it.

The problem is HC monk alone kinda suxxx. HC monk needs another healer to cover his back.

I would like too see ZB everywhere but the problem is another insane buff of ench removals (ty izzy)... just read rip ench or strip ench... insane stuff. Moreover guardian got slightly nerfed (not that big deal but considering recent update... dunno). The conclusion is monk has just become the least demanding class in TA team (back in time getting a pro TA monk for ur team was rly hard). The advantage of this is u can grab a random glad4 noob and tell him to play HC monk without fear he/she will suck hard. On the other hand pro oldschool monk will be very pissed cuz they will be replaced with nub HC spammer and it will prolly stay like this until izzy starts playing TA.

Almost every skill balance makes TA worse and worse... its funny.

You all seem to miss the point of this thread. Read the title again. Go ahead. Indeed. It says DUAL monk gimmick.

Now, surely I agree that the HC monk only requires a retarded dead monkey in a coma that's been burnt and the ashes have been spread around the earth, but that's not the point.

A HC monk on its own really isn't that hard to kill; it's the combination with a smite monk, deep wound spammer and enchantment removal spammer that makes it so hard to kill.

By now we know how to counter it, we know that only idiots run it, that it's not a good way to learn monking etc. I really don't see a point in this thread any more, it's been derailed way too far.
